The following position at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna is to be filled as soon as possible:
University assistant in the field „Expanded Pictorial Space“
at the Institute for Fine Arts.
This position is offered on the basis of 30 hours per week for a limited period of five years.
The tasks include in particular the collaboration in courses in the field of expanded pictorial space at the Institute for Fine Arts, the supervision of students as well as the participation in organizational and administrative tasks and evaluation measures.
Conditions of employment:
• a university degree or equivalent artistic or artistic-scientific qualification which qualifies for employment
• proof of the holding of courses in the tertiary area of at least two semesters
• very good German and English knowledge
• IT skills
Desired qualifications:
• extensive international knowledge and artistic practice in the fine arts
• special knowledge and practical experience in the field of expanded pictorial space
• experience in organizing and realizing exhibitions, projects and publications
• teamwork skills
• didactic/pedagogical competence
• gender competence and intercultural competence
The monthly gross salary according to the collective agreement for university employees in salary group B1 with an employment of 30 hours per week is currently Euro 2,196.8.
