abroad with ASA
Participation in the ASA program is possible for regularly enrolled students of the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna in the field of Fine Arts from the third semester onwards. Applications for these study places are sent directly to the official e-mail addresses of the Academy's students. Applications must be submitted digitally via Calls (https://calls.akbild.ac.at/calls/) and should include:
- An artistic portfolio
- A letter of motivation including a curriculum vitae
- An application form signed by the relevant head of department at the IBK and the mobility coordinators of all other fields of study.
Both the approval of an ASA exchange and the allocation of the scholarship are determined by an internal committee of the Academy.
Exchange students of the Art School Alliance program are exempted from the tuition fees of the partner university. Most partner universities offer additional support such as free accommodation or public transportation tickets. However, depending on the cost of living in various countries, there might be additional expenses. Prior to applying, please reach out to the International Office at s.baranque@akbild.ac.at for detailed information."
