The Academy at Fanzineist Vienna Art Book & Zine Fair
Fanzineist Vienna Art Book & Zine Fair is an annual international independent publishing event that focuses on presenting self-published publications and independent works in the fields of art, design, literature, culture, and more.
Fanzineist is a non-profit art book & zine fair organised by Deniz Beser & Dayan Ozan Ozoglu in cooperation with the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. Whether attending in-person or online, visitors can expect to be immersed in a vibrant atmosphere of creativity and passion for independent art publishing.
The Academy is represented by the Studio of Graphic Arts and Printmaking Techniques with works by Samira Homayouni, Dmitrij Ritter, 徐 布语 (BuyuXu), Olivia Golde and the Studio for Contextual Painting with works by Thomas Alwii und Marianne Eberl. In another booth, students of the PhD in Practice at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna will present the feminist publication platform tumbalacasa ediciones from Mexico City and Vienna, the creative space estudio elgozo and publications by Laura Reinthaler.
With 110 physical exhibitors and 20 online exhibitors from more than 29 countries, the Fanzineist Vienna Art Book & Zine Fair is a great opportunity for those who are interested in independent publishing to discover new works, meet like-minded individuals, and learn about the latest trends and developments in the field.
