Word Art Collective: Call for digital art works

The Word Art Collective, a non-profit arts initiative established by a group of curators and writers based in London, is curating an exhibition of art and design by artists whose work explores the theme of European identitity, taking as its base an interest in language. The exhibition at Hoxton Arches Gallery in London will run from 19 November to 8 December 2012.

Artists based throughout Europe are invited to submit a piece of digital artwork to be shown at this exhibition, inspired by a saying or aphorism in their local language. A prize of 300 GBP will be awarded to the artist whose work best embodies the spirit of the relationship between words, image and European identity.
