OFROOM invites you to a joint sustainability forum with lectures, material presentations, working discussions, planning workshops, material exhibition and panel discussion.

The Platform CMT | Construction, Materials & Technology, Bachelors and Masters students at the Institute of Art and Architecture exhibit with projects in and around the Vienna River. Alternative concept models made of sustainable model materials and alternative model material examples show that sustainability starts with the model.

The construction industry is responsible for about 40-50% of CO2 emissions and waste volume. For far too long, the climate debate has focused solely on energy-saving measures. There is a need for a critical examination of the status quo of planning and execution and a rapid transformation to a circular, resource-saving and emission-reduced building.

Tickets include food and drinks as well as a contribution for the musicians inside of "Architektur Hören".

Academy members and Alumni have the opportunity to take part in a guided tour of the event on 20.10. at 3 pm.

For students and members of the academy the participation is free of charge. Registration using your @akbild.ac.at address at office@materialservice.net is mandatory.

Alumni of the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna receive a discount with the voucher code ALUMNI-akademie and pay only 15 euro instead of 25 euro. The tickets are valid for all three days.
