As our non-human allies, microbes transform matter, merging microbiological life with our human bodies, they overlap, interfere and dissolve in the depths of fermentation processes. Sonic Ferment presents manipulated live sounds of preparing millet, for the Balkan-typical drink boza, and cabbage, for the German-known version of Sauerkraut, in handmade clay pots. An invitation to listen, taste and observe the continuous sound rendition and fermentation of two distant dishes over the entire Rundgang.
