Opening and Performances: Archeology of Whispers
Performances and opening of the exhibition Archeology of Whispers with Tabea Briggs, Luiza Furtado, Ziliia Kanchurina, André Rachadel, Daniel Sea, and Seul A Shin as part of the series Wer A… sagt of the A...cademy Library.
Through a queer and transfeminist perspective, the participating artists stage existential themes such as care, community, belongingness, loss, corporeality, working class and migrant issues in multimedia works. The opening will feature site-specific and research-based performances.
6:30 p.m.: Collective performance by all artists

7:30 p.m.: Individual performance by Daniel Sea
Daniel Sea will perform an embodiment of a distillation of whisperings based on their research within the Academy’s library, working in collaboration with the library’s collection of books, materials and engaging with the traces of imaginations left by transcestors who have passed through the library over centuries past. Using their body as apparatus on which to interrogate and give sculptural form to the magical and imaginative creature self.
