A book for Kinderhospiz Netz
The University Library's charity book bazaar for the benefit of Kinderhospiz Netz, an association for the care of seriously ill children at home and in the children's day hospice.
In the historical ambience of the University Library, artistically designed by Theophil Hansen, you will discover a colorful selection of books, exhibition catalogs, and specialist journals from all areas of art, architecture, and art theory, provided by the institutions, collections, and staff of the Academy as well as the patrons of the University Library.

Your donations will benefit the Kinderhospiz Netz association, founded in 2005, which provides comprehensive care for seriously ill and terminally ill children and young people at home in their familiar surroundings and in Vienna's only children's day and weekend hospice.
The team, consisting of multi-professionals and trained volunteers, supports, accompanies and relieves children and young people with life-threatening or life-shortening illnesses as well as their entire family, with a special focus on siblings from the time of diagnosis and without a time limit.
Complex illnesses require therapies to maintain or improve the child's quality of life. The association offers physiotherapy, music therapy, art therapy and animal-assisted therapy. The support provided by the Kinderhospiz Netz [children's hospice network] is free of charge for families and is funded entirely by donations.
