Pia Mayrwöger (Bmkös)

Pia Mayrwöger lives and works as a freelance artist in Linz. In her artistic practice, she is largely concerned with the thematic field of work. Using simple machines, she explores the boundaries between industrial production and the value of the artistic object. Her work has been awarded, among others, the Arbeiterkammer Kunstpreis (2021), the Arbeitsstipendium des Bundesministeriums für Wissenschaft und Forschung und Bildung (2021/2022) and the Linz AG Atelierstipendium der Kunstförderpreise der Stadt Linz (2022/2023) and is shown in Austria and abroad.
