From November 8 to 15, 2024, VIENNA ART WEEK will turn the spotlights on the art city Vienna for the 20th time. With this year’s theme “Facing Time”, VIENNA ART WEEK reflects on its almost 20-year history and explores the various dimensions of time.

As part of the collection-related research season 2025/26 “Beside, not infinite,” the Austrian Ludwig Foundation is offering a grant in 2025 to support research for academic as well as artistic and curatorial projects in the field of visual arts by funding a research trip outside of Austria.

Open Days 2025
Institutes will open their atelier doors and studios, and performances, discussions and educational programs are offered. The annual Academy Auction will also take place as part of the tour, for which world-famous and even lesser-known artists will make works available for auction.
