Mentoring Qualification
The qualification as a mentor for the artistic-creative subjects is offered either as a course in further education or a certified university course of the Development Association North-East (https://www.lehramt-ost.at/weiterbildung/). The qualification courses entitle to accompany and supervise student teachers or young professionals in schools.
The following programs are offered for the academic year 2024/25:
- Further training as a mentor in pedagogical-practical studies (PPS) (15 ECTS-AP)
- Advanced training as a mentor in career entry (induction, incl. PPS) (30 ECTS-AP)
These programs include pedagogical-educational as well as field-specific didactical modules. The pedagogical-educational modules are offered by an institution of choice in the North-East Schools’ Group; the field-specific didactical modules are provided by the respective Universities of the Arts:

- Music Education | University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna
- Technical and textile Arts, Crafts and Design | Cooperation of the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna and the University of Applied Arts Vienna
