Taxes

We devote ourselves to the 1×1 on the way to the tax return: collecting and sorting receipts, keeping lists, filling out forms. And then? How much tax do I have to pay?

And first of all: Who is liable to pay taxes at all? What can I deduct from my taxes? What details must a correct invoice contain? How do I make an income and expenditure statement? Who has to declare foreign income in Austria?

We also take a look at scholarships and prizes. We explain terms such as business expenses, double taxation and small business:internal flat rate. We look at relevant tax office forms. After input from Doris Krenn (tax consultant), participants will have the opportunity to ask questions.

• After a short introduction incl. technical hints the input of the presenters will start (about 30 minutes).
• Afterwards, 60 minutes are scheduled during which you can use the "Raise your hand" function (found under "Reactions" at the bottom of the task bar) to speak and ask questions verbally.
• If you experience connection issues or get disconnected while participating, please click the Zoom meeting link again!
• We recommend (especially if you have an unstable internet connection) to turn off the video for the duration of the Zoom Meeting. 
• Please keep your microphone muted. We would like to point out that all participants will be muted by the moderator in the interest of smooth proceedings (background noise) and that requests to speak will only be possible during the concluding Q&A session.
• During the input of the presenters you can send comprehension questions in the zoom chat (see task bar) to the co-moderator (***Questions to me! Daniela Koweindl, IG Bildende Kunst). She will pass on received questions collected to the moderator.
• We request that no recordings of any kind be made.
