The Scholar-in-Residence program at the Technisches Museum Wien enables a researcher to spend two to three months at the Technisches Museum Wien.

The residency is endowed with EUR 7,000 and is possible in the period between March 3 and September 30, 2025. The call is aimed at both early career researchers and senior scientists.

The Residency 2025 is located at the interface to the ongoing research project “Colonial Infrastructures”. As part of the research project, which is funded by the Federal Ministry for Arts, Culture, the Civil Service and Sport (BMKÖS), colonial infrastructure and transport projects in which Austrian involvement in planning, construction or through (in)direct exploitation interests can be proven are being investigated at the Technisches Museum Wien.
