Computer Studio

The computer studios serve mainly as workspace which can be used by students independently, and are equipped with Apple computers of the newer and newest generations. Students familiarize themselves with programs for designing, processing photos, videos, sound and text as well as programming, 3D animation and postproduction in the course of lectures and seminars and then implement these processes in actual artistic projects.

With the aid of the Information Communication Technologies (ZID), a service provided by the Academy, the computer workplaces are maintained and updated. The computer studios serve as open workshops and the facilities are to be used with care. There are 30 workplaces available (20 in Lehargasse, 10 in Kurzbauergasse), and can be used during the opening hours.
