The Dan David Prize is a joint international enterprise, endowed by the Dan David Foundation and headquartered at Tel Aviv University. It recognizes and encourages innovative and interdisciplinary research that cuts across traditional boundaries and paradigms.
The selected topic for the current call is "Past - History & Memory" , i.e. the question of how the past shapes and is shaped by the present. Annually twenty scholarships of US$ 15,000 each are awarded to outstanding doctoral and postdoctoral students of exceptional promise (10 at Tel Aviv University, 10 all over the world).
