University Library – Summer 2024
The University Library of the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna also offers all services in summer.
Please note the reduced opening hours from July 1 to September 29, 2024:
Monday: 10 a.m.–4 p.m.
Tuesday: 10 a.m.–4 p.m.
Wednesday: 10 a.m.–4 p.m.
Friday: 10 a.m.–4 p.m.
The Main Library will be closed from July 29 to August 18, 2024.
The Branch Library at the Institute for Education in the Arts will be unoccupied from July 1 to September 29, 2024.
From Monday, September 30, 2024, the team will be available again for your questions during the usual opening hours.

For more information on the opening hours and closing times of the Main Library and the Branch Library at the Institute for Education in the Arts, please refer to the University Library menu or the search engine of the online catalog www.akbild.ac.at/bib-search.
During closing hours, media on loan may be returned using the return boxes:
Schillerplatz – located next to the entrance door of the reading room (M 7);
Karl-Schweighofer-Gasse – opposite room 4.18.
