Ute Meta Bauer
is the founding director of the Centre for Contemporary Art in Singapore and was previously director of the Visual Arts Program in the Department of Architecture at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge. As a freelance international lecturer and curator - including co-curator of Documenta11 and artistic director of the 3rd Berlin Biennial - she works in the field of contemporary art with a focus on transdisciplinarity. At the Academy she was from 1996 until 2005 Professor of Theory and Practice of Contemporary Art and Head of the Institute for Art and Cultural Science, the former Institute of Contemporary Art.
Iva Čukić
graduated from the Faculty of Architecture in Belgrade where she earned her PhD in urban planning. The areas of her research include urban commons and urban transformation, which she pursues through intersecting academic and activist perspective. She actively works with the community - supporting local initiatives in their efforts to address spatial issues and contribute to socio-political change in line with the principles of social justice. Since 2015, Iva has been collaborating with universities in Serbia and abroad. She is a co-founder of the collective Ministry of Space formed in 2011, with the aim to pursue spatial justice.
Roshini Kempadoo
is a British photographer and media artist. She has been a lecturer and researcher in photography, digital media production and cultural studies at various educational institutions for more than 20 years and is Professor of Photography and Visual Culture at the University of Westminster. Her artistic work addresses women's issues and questions of representation, particularly of black people from the Caribbean.
Griselda Pollock
is a South African-British art historian, cultural scholar, publicist, and professor of gender studies. She has been Director of the Centre for Cultural Analysis, Theory and History at the University of Leeds since 2001. Her (teaching) interests include modern, postmodern, and contemporary art, as well as feminist theory, feminist art history, and gender studies.
Marat Raiymkulov
is a visual artist, director and actor and Professor of Physics from Kyrgyzstan. His work ranges from performance lecture, animation and video art, drawings and installation, to the direction and production of plays, as well as dramaturgical writing, fiction, and essays. He is one of the founders of the Bishkek art collective Group 705 that with a focus on Central Asia interacts between artists on the one hand and government and large institutions on the other. With his own works he was represented among others in the Central Asia Pavilion of the 54th Venice Biennale (2011).
Eyal Weizmann
is an Israeli architect, lecturer, writer, and director of the Center for Research Architecture at Goldsmiths College, University of London. He is founder of the research agency Forensic Architecture as well as of the architectural collective DAAR in Beit Sahour/Palestine. Weizman is in close contact with human rights organizations in Israel and Palestine. He critically engages with the architectural guild in his literary works. From 2004 to 2006 he was a professor of Habitat, Environment, Conservation at the Academy's Department of Art and Architecture.
