The Carinthia Young Artists Award honours up-and-coming artists up to the age of 35 who were either born, grew up or live/work in Carinthia, or whose personality/work has a concrete connection to the province of Carinthia.

Inspired by Hans Kelsen, the third edition of the Ottakringer Art Prize 2025 deals with the central questions of our coexistence. It is intended to offer both the submitting artists and, in spring, visitors to the exhibition an opportunity to engage with privileges that have seemingly become taken for granted.

Publishers and cultural organisations active in the publishing sector can apply for co-financing for the translation, printing, distribution and promotion of European literature. The aim of the funding is to strengthen the transnational dissemination and diversity of European literary works.

The 2025 Art Prize invites Greek and international artists to apply. The Art Prize supports contemporary artists by offering them the opportunity to create a new, site-specific artwork which will remain on permanent display in Agios Nikolaos, Crete, will become part of the Foundation’s art collection, and will join an important cultural heritage as well.

Funding is available for ongoing qualification theses (i.e. diploma, bachelor's and master's theses, dissertations) on LGBTIQQAA*-relevant topics in all scientific disciplines that are being written at Austrian universities (but not courses, MBA programmes or habilitations). The relevance, scientific level and innovative content will be assessed.

With the #ConnectingMinds program, the Austrian Science Fund FWF encourages researchers to involve non-academic stakeholders in their research projects. Funding is available to teams that combine both academic and social knowledge and are applying them to help tackle social, technological, ecological, and economic challenges.

The programmatic focus of the third call relates to the creative power of young cultural creation and aims to provide the appropriate attention and stage for this. With this in mind, the Carinthian Cultural Foundation is looking for innovative, inclusive and intergenerational projects that open up new horizons and create future-oriented development spaces for young generations.
