flimmer.club | „es bewegt sich was“

The flimmer.club is a virtual exhibition space linking real and virtual publics - a virtual bar where art is presented, mediated and received.

Between June and December, video and film works are presented and discussed monthly in the virtual flimmer.club (realised on Gather).

The bar will be open regularly, every fortnight, in the evenings from mid-June. More information will be published soon on our website www.flimmer.club .

If the pandemic situation should ease again in the meantime, flimmer.club can react to this and use the offspace SIZE MATTERS in Vienna. The bar will then physically move to Margareten, the films will be projected on site, flimmer.club
will remain a jour fixe.

With flimmer.club , we critically examine the question of how an art space can emerge in virtual space, and which possibilities and conditions are used to become part of the public sphere.
