After Autonomy: Toward a Decolonial Aesthetics and the Question of Minor Relationalities
Die von Katja Diefenbach, Çiğdem Inan, Ruth Sonderegger und Pablo Valdivia Orozco organisierte Konferenz widmet sich der Frage, welches soziale und politische Potenzial ästhetischen Praktiken innewohnt, um der vielfältigen Gewalt des racial capitalism zu widerstehen.
Die These der Konferenz ist, dass philosophische Reflexionen über Alternativen zur kolonial-kapitalistischen Gesellschaft auch Konzepte des An/Ästhetischen, Un/Sinnlichen und Un/Wahrnehmbaren betrachten müssen. Gleichzeitig gilt es, die höchst ambivalente und gewaltgeschichtliche Rolle zu reflektieren, die der Diskurs der westlichen Ästhetik bei der Konstituierung und Rechtfertigung kolonial-kapitalistischer Nationalstaaten und ihrer Subjektivierungsdynamiken gespielt hat.
