STATION ROSE, Pioneers of Digital Culture (FAZ), are artist Elisa Rose & composer Gary Danner. Station Rose initiated Vienna´s 4th district as an art centre in 1988, went to Egypt in 88/89, and lived abroad from 1991-2011. They are online since 1991 & STaRted netart-projects then. They <re-materialize> since 1999. A focus of their artistic work is <audio-visual live performances>, as recently at Vienna Art Week at MAK.
STR won the Prix Ars Electronica (honorary mention), lifetime award of the City of Linz for their artistic work.
