Backstage of the imperfect structures: Cultural Centre of Belgrade and the October Salon

Guest lecture by Zorana Đaković Minniti organized by Marina Grzinic, Post Conceptual Study Program.
From 2004, when the biggest exhibition of contemporary visual arts in Serbia, the October Salon, became international, until 2014, Đaković was closely working with different curators and theirs practices, coordinating the October Salon exhibition. She will give a brief overview of the background, current position and impact of the biggest and oldest manifestation (exhibition) of visual arts that is the October Salon founded by the City of Belgrade. www.oktobarskisalon.org
CV: Zorana Đaković Minniti born in 1976 in Belgrade, Yugoslavia. Graduated from the Faculty of Philology at the Department for French language and litterature. Obtained M.A. degree at the University of Arts in Belgrade in the field of management in culture and mediation, currently finishing her studies in art history. Presently she works in the Cultural Centre of Belgrade ( www.kcb.org.rs ) as coordinator for the international cooperation and program coordinator of the Podroom gallery within the same institution.
