The Dissident Goddesses‘ Network Temple Hour #1
Die Veranstaltung findet im Rahmen des Forschungsprojektes The Dissident Goddesses Network am Institut für Kunst- und Kulturwissenschaften statt in Kooperation mit dem OFROOM Innovation Circle.
Special guest: Arthur Mamou-Mani, London/Paris
Contemporary temples as an expression of the polis, a sense of we-feeling. The Dissident Goddesses' Network is dedicated to the development of future temples under aspects of constructed narratives, the creation of places for collectives, as places of rapprochement, places of permanent transition and the possibility of deceleration of time. The provision of new collective places as a call to action for the future, as a utopian sur-plus. The visualization of diverse relationships, the rhizome-like references of works to and among each other.
The Dissident Goddesses' Network invites you to the first Temple Hour. We meet Arthur Mamou-Mani, architect of the Burning Man Temple Galaxia, a volcanic structure. The works of Mamou-Mani depict a digital process chain that encompasses everything from design, planning and execution to programming one's own software tools; design-to-product, embedded in a global network that supports each other via open source platforms and production collectives.
