In the following we would like to inform you about some upcoming activities, events and calls of the Center for Doctoral Studies in January and the new semester. You can find further funding opportunities for doctoral candidates below.
On January 18, 2024, we will have a Coffee Table Talk online event discussing the "Final Steps: Dissertation Submission and Defensio". We will be happy to answer all your questions concerning how to conclude your PhD studies. More about the event can be found here.
We have also put together a handout with step-by-step instructions from submitting your dissertation to the defense, which you can find here.
For those who have already finished your PhD and are in the process of working on a postdoc project, we would like to draw your attention to our Scholarship for Early Post Doc Applications. This scholarship aims to support early postdocs in the application for their initial postdoctoral research project. Applications can be submitted until January 25, 2024, you can find the call here.
We are also very pleased to invite you to next year's Graduate Conference, which is scheduled for April 30, 2024. The Call for Submissions will be opened soon.
