Kiosk – New Online Platform for Study Information
Kiosk, the new platform for study information at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna, has recently gone online in its full version in English and German. It offers comprehensive information on study programmes, application, counselling and all kinds of practical information about studying. New contributions from students are being published regularly.

"Ballonhalle" Campus – architectural competition decided
The new "Ballonhalle" location of the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna will provide sufficient space for teaching, research and science communication in the studios, laboratories, event and seminar rooms for students of restoration and conservation, as well as all students of the university's science education programs.

University Library – Spring 2024 Vacations
The University Library of the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna is on vacation. The Main Library and the Branch Library at the Institute for Education in the Arts will be closed from March 25 to April 1, 2024.

UNIQA Art Prize 2024 - 15,000 euros for our graduates
In cooperation with UNIQA, the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna is inviting its graduates to apply for the UNIQA Art Prize 2024, which is endowed with €15,000 for young artists. In addition to the prize money, there will also be the opportunity to hold an exhibition in the UNIQA Tower in Vienna, which will open in February 2025.

Memorial Machtverkettungen
The temporary memorial Machtverkettungen, designed by Duha Samir, Student at the Institute for Art and Architecture, has been unveiled on Karlsplatz as part of the Feminist Fight Day 2024 on March 8th. The memorial will be on display until August, 29, 2024.

Impact Academy Residency in Genalguacil (Andalusia, Spain)
The first two artists to be selected for the residency from April to June 2024 by a jury consisting of representatives of the Pueblo Museo Genalguacil and the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna are Irene Lucas and Patricio Sota.
