Reading Circle "Focus on Nature"
In line with the topic "Focus on Nature" in the program of the Academy’s Exhibition Space in Eschenbachgasse, the Viennese collective adO/Aptive together with Carla Veltman, will host three sessions of collective readings that can be joined online and visited independently of each other. All texts are in English and will be read together, no preparation or previous knowledge is necessary. Poems, landscape descriptions, manifestos, and critical essays will be read.
Dates: April 2, April 16 and April 30 from 2 pm–4:30 pm

Undoing Landscape
The seminar held by Adam Szymczyk, along with the exhibition Undoing Landscape at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna was realized in cooperation with Kontakt Collection and ERSTE Foundation.
The participating students are Viktoria Bayer, Anna Bochkova, Emma Carlén, Kristina Cyan, Louise Deininger, Marie Yaël Fidesser, Lisa Grosskopf, Anthia Loizou, Clemens Matschnig, Taro Meissner, Kamryn Pariso, Ursula Pokorny, Rasmus Richter, Olga Shapovalova, Rini Swarnaly Mitra, and Kanako Tada.

Akbild Forum bietet ab Oktober 2020 in mehrfacher Hinsicht eine neue Plattform für das Ausstellungswesens der Akademie. Lokalisiert am Getreidemarkt 12 soll der neue Raum Ort der Diskussion über die nebenan präsentierten Ausstellungen bieten sowie den Rahmen für Veranstaltungen, die sich mit ausstellungstheoretische wie -praktischen Fragen auseinandersetzen.
